Carbon Capture USA is located in Gainesville,
Florida. We are offsetting our own carbon use on a
14-acre preserve near Grove Park (12 miles east of Gainesville) that is being
restored to its original native plant communities.
This preserve includes a
variety of forest types, including longleaf pine-sandhill
habitat, oak hammock, and some sand pine scrub habitat. The preserve is home to a diversity of
native plant and animal species, including imperiled species such as the
Gopher Tortoise.
