Welcome!

Gainesville Holistic Health and Art Festival

Saturday, January 29, 2011

at the United Church of Gainesville

1624 NW 5th Avenue in Gainesville

(at the corner of NW 17th Street and 5th Avenue)

10:00 am to 5:00 pm

An amazing array of holistic health practitioners will demonstrate their unique healing skills amongst soothing music, art, poetry, dance, workshops, and fun things for families with children.

The health fair was created to give our community an opportunity to speak with a wide variety of holistic health practitioners and see and experience their specialties.

Expect to be entertained at every turn, and informed, and amazed.   There will be workshops for adults, as well as fun programs especially for families with children.  This year again we will have many workshops, including some extensive therapeutic workshops.  It’s a health fair and a holistic health conference rolled into one fantastic day.

Valuable information will be available free from all sources, since the fair is intended for networking, learning, and communication.  A wide variety of workshops will be offered.  Instructors of Reiki, yoga, bodywork, Chi Gong,  dance, and more, will be there to show-and-tell.  Doulas, midwives, lactation counselors, and peri-natal massage therapists will provide information on birth options.  The Weston A. Price Foundation will provide information on nutrition and healthy eating.  We will try to have Nourishing Traditions food and drinks from local grassfarmers available for purchase, including breakfast and lunch.

Artists will sell their artwork.  There will be vendors offering metaphysical gifts, jewelry,  clothing, books, BioPro™ EMF protection devices, posters, cards, CD’s, and more.

The entry fee is $5 donation for adults; and all children are free with an accompanying adult.  Our nonprofit sponsors will receive the proceeds from the health fair.  Last year the Gainesville Holistic Health Fair raised $700 for its sponsors, the Home Van that feeds Gainesville’s homeless, the Displaced Homemaker Program at Santa Fe College and Three Aunties.

We look forward to seeing you there!
